CJC Labs specialises in the production of low-flow gas meters and small-scale laboratory bioreactors. These can be configured by the user to meet a range of experimental research needs and commercial testing applications.

It was founded by Prof Charles Banks (Professor Charles Banks | Engineering | University of Southampton) who has been involved in leading-edge development and optimisation of a number of key environmental biotechnologies, including anaerobic digestion.

A key objective in setting up the business was to make some of the equipment developed and successfully used in his research labs available to the wider community of academic and commercial laboratories.

The company has taken this forward by re-designing these tried and tested pieces of equipment for manufacture to produce user-friendly, effective and reliable products which meet research and quality assurance needs.

We have used state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques and precision engineering, working with some of the best experts in the business to help us develop the designs, and have written software to complement the equipment in both commercial and research environments.
